Honorees

Over its fifteen-year history, Rhodes Model Regional Co-operation (RhodesMRC) has conferred the RhodesMRC Award upon a small number of distinguished international personalities whose life’s work has made a meaningful contribution to the advancement of democracy, peace, and international co-operation.

The Award is reserved for exceptional figures whose public service, intellectual contribution, or professional trajectory exemplify the values and principles that underpin RhodesMRC.

Honorees are invited to become part of the RhodesMRC experience—most often during the University Edition—by delivering the Keynote Address at the Opening Ceremony and engaging directly with participants. Through dialogue and interaction with delegates, they share their insights, experiences, and perspectives, enriching the academic and educational character of the conference.
