SDG 3

Undoubtedly, as anyone would claim, all the Sustainable Development Goals are co-related and achieving one is closely linked to accomplishing another. Of course, all of them are important, each one for different reasons. Personally, I would like to focus on goal number three: “good health”, which is something that we tend to take for granted. It is alarming to even think that every minute, 11 children die, despite the fact that the 21st century is characterized by advanced technology, science and medicine. Thus, we shall take advantage of the means that the new era offers us and ensure that, not only ourselves, but also the others, acquire the resources needed for a long and healthy life.

OSCE Secretary General

Hello! It is my great honor and pleasure to officially welcome you to the tenth RhodesMRC anniversary, which I must assure you, is going to be the best one!

Dedicated, talkative, impartial, excited, polite

Zoe was born and raised in Athens, where she is currently living and studying. More precisely, she is in her fourth year of studies, majoring in Law in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while at the same time, pursuing a minor degree in International Business at the American College of Greece (Deree). Her first simulation experience dates back in 2013, when she was still in high school. Ever since, Zoe has participated in various international, but also regional simulations in Greece and abroad, as a delegate, head delegate and chairperson. What attracts her most in wanting to participate in such conferences again and again is her deep passion for exploring new fields, while at the same time, meeting new people and sharing beautiful experiences. Rhodes MRC 2019 will be her third consecutive MRC and she declares certain that this year’s will be the greatest of them all!

RhodesMRC Memory

For me, one of the most memorable things about Rhodes MRC is the beautiful scenery of the island of Rhodes, and especially, the medieval castles, where the opening and closing ceremonies take place. So, during the closing ceremony of RhodesMRC 2018, and when the first members of the board had taken the floor to deliver their speeches, it started raining. Very soon, the closing ceremony resumed indoors, however these 10 minutes that we stayed in the rain was definitely one of my most special conference memories
