SDG 4

According to the UN official website, SDG 4 about Quality Education refers to the establishment of a quality education as the foundation to creating sustainable development. In addition to improving quality of life, access to inclusive education can help equip citizens with the tools required to develop innovative solutions to the world’s greatest problems. It is in this regard that in the past few years I’ve been engaged in the running and, later on, in the management of Student Association For International Affairs (SAFIA), an important Greek student organisation based in Athens. SAFIA has been promoting over the past two decades the study of international affairs and international law, as well as the social aspects of women inequality within the formal education. To this end, SAFIA promotes the publishing of student reports on these issues and organises workshops to raise awareness on the setbacks of the Greek formal education system.

RhodesMRC Memory

RhodesMRC 2018 UniEd was my second participation in this amazing simulation. I served as the Minister of Israel in the Union for the Mediterranean. I had the chance to work with people I already knew, so I felt very comfortable, as well as with students at different universities, who really offered me a lot with their own knowledge and experiences. All of these factors combined gave me the chance to make the best out of me. Being awarded as Best Delegate, all the knowledge I earned and my new friendships have made RhodesMRC 2018 UniEd an amazing experience!
