SDG 5
As a woman and a humanitarian, I’ve grown up realizing certain inequalities and gender roles in the Eastern and Western society. Trying to understand the modern world and its’ discriminations made me a supporter of true equality between genders, and the protection of women’s and girls’ rights globally. Sexual assault, human trafficking and domestic violence consist of only a few of the violations of human rights women are facing every single day. Which is why I personally support daily through my actions and my beliefs, Sustainable Development Goal n.5 : Gender Equality.

RhodesMRC Memory
It is quite tough to think of one great memory from RhodesMRC, since the whole experience of the simulation consists of beautiful moments. From the committee gatherings, to the coffee breaks and the social events, it is clear how it is more than just a conference. Every single hour spent in the beautiful island of Rhodes turns into a remarkable memory, which makes the delegates wanting to participate again and again. One of the best moments was during the social events in 2018, when all of the committee members bonded during a night of drinking games that no-one will forget.
