SDG 5
For me, the most important sustainable development goal (SDG) is No.8 “Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all”. We live in world, where economic crisis, inequalities in the working environment or even indecent working conditions, are the common phenomenon. This should and must be changed. Although a wide variety of measures have been taken in order to foster better working conditions, a decrease of unemployment and informal employment and an increase in productivity and employment opportunities, more measures have to be implemented in order to promote the best conditions for a better economy and a better working environment. Because in the very end, we do not have to do it just for ourselves but for the legacy we live behind and for our children.

It is my honor and outmost pleasure to welcome you in Rhodes, and more specifically in RhodesMRC 2019, which is one of the largest simulations of international organizations in Greece.
Passionate, ambitious, efficient, disciplinarian, self-driven
Alexandros Pantelakos was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is currently an undergraduate student in the Department of Business Administration and Management at the University of Macedonia. After his graduation, he hopes to expand his knowledge on his field of studies and more specifically on the field of Finance with further studies in the United Kingdom. He speaks Greek, English and German. During the last four years, he participated in a plethora of academic projects and initiatives, among which were simulations of the United Nations, the European Union and other Regional and International Organizations, both in Greece and abroad.
RhodesMRC Memory
A single memory is not able for me to identify. The whole RhodesMRC is for me a single experience, a single memory, with every characteristic being combined with everything else, constructing a single memory. You cannot isolate, the time of the sessions, the people, the breaks or the social events and the free time. RhodesMRC is and will always be a sweet memory and experience for me from the time I wake up until the time I fall asleep exhausted from the previous tiring day.
