SDG 2

2000: The international community pledged to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger by 2015. 2015: While almost 500 million people have been lifted out of extreme poverty, hunger is on the rise again fuelled by an unstable global environment. Hunger, food insecurity and impaired nutrition are just the symptoms. Combating the root causes of them is mutually beneficial for the success of all SDGs. Ending hunger by 2030 is the essence of the sustainable development model that determines its success.

RhodesMRC Memory

Directing a committee it’s all about delivering to the participants a joyful, yet constructive, experience. Knowing that someone acknowledges your efforts, whether he is a delegate, a co-chair or a supervisor, is really a dope feeling. That is exactly what took place in RhodesMRC 2018, something I’ll never forget.
