Who are you?
My name is Panagiotis Chatzigeorgiou and I was born in Thessaloniki in 1996. Having spent my childhood in Patras, I have learned both English and German and also how to play the piano. When I turned 18 I returned to my home city, Thessaloniki, where I live ever since, studying Law in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and travelling the world.
In my third year of studies I started discovering the MUN world. My journey started in this very conference, Rhodes MRC 2016, after being chosen to represent FYROM. Now, after participating as the delegate of USA in 2017 edition of the colloquium, along with Georgios Bourtzis, my third time in Rhodes will be a special one, since I am a Chairperson in such a conference for the very first time. Hopefully, there will be more Rhodes MRC conferences yet to come for me.
Why is RhodesMRC special for you?
It is like a friends’ party with sophisticated guests.
What do you expect to gain as a member of the Board of RhodesMRC 2018?
I expect to gain more experience regarding the group management issue and to see how difficult or easy it is to be in charge of a large group of both ambitious and innovative people. I also want to produce, if possible, a high level academic paper, when it comes to composing the study guide. It is an opportunity to understand better, how the whole procedure of reaching a resolution evolves, by accomplishing all the mini tasks that will show up during the conference. Last but not least, my greatest goal is to inspire the delegates to love collaborating with each other, to continue working till they become what they want to be and to enjoy the MRC experience.
