I am a highly motivated and detail-oriented law student with a strong background in maritime law, marketing, and event coordination. My academic journey in law at Democritus University of Thrace has been complemented by hands-on experience in legal research, contract review, and risk assessment through my internships at Thenamaris. Additionally, my leadership roles in various organizations such as TEDxDUTH, DUTHMUN, and Thracing on MIC have strengthened my teamwork, strategic planning, and communication abilities. I thrive in fast-paced, multicultural environments where I can apply my problem-solving and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva, I am particularly passionate about integrating law, business, and technology to drive innovative projects.
Education
I am currently pursuing a degree in law at Democritus University of Thrace, where I have developed a strong foundation in various legal disciplines, with a specific interest in commercial and maritime law. Alongside my undergraduate studies, I have enrolled in a specialized course, Maritime Law in Action, at the University of Athens – Law Department, deepening my understanding of legal frameworks governing the shipping industry. My secondary education took place at Ecole Jeanne d’Arc du Pirée, a bilingual institution that played a crucial role in shaping my academic discipline and linguistic proficiency.
Professional Experience
My practical legal experience includes an internship at Thenamaris Ship Management Company, where I gained valuable insights into maritime law, legal research, and contract analysis. During my time there, I worked on risk assessments and developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Following this, I undertook an internship in the Insurance and Claims Department at Thenamaris, where I focused on marine insurance, claims resolution, and legal compliance, reinforcing my attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Beyond legal work, I also gained administrative experience as a Secretarial Assistant at Mellon Lab STEAM, Robotics & Coding, where I managed client communications, supplier relations, and office administration. This role honed my organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Leadership and Extracurricular Activities
Throughout my academic career, I have taken on several leadership roles. As the Director of Marketing at the European Law School Association (ELSA) Komotini, I was responsible for managing branding strategies and promotional campaigns. I also served as Coordinator for Marketing and Sponsors at TEDxDUTH, where I played a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies for large-scale events.
Additionally, I was the Head of Marketing and Social Media Management at DUTHMUN, a student-led organization focused on Model United Nations (MUN) activities. This experience allowed me to enhance my negotiation, public speaking, and diplomacy skills. I also took on the role of Chief of the Organizing Committee for Thracing on Model International Crisis, an event held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Democritus University of Thrace, further reinforcing my event management and leadership expertise.
Conferences and Seminars
I have actively participated in numerous MUN conferences, including Thracing on MIC 2023, where I won the Best Delegate Award, and Paris Model United Nations, where I also received first prize. I have attended the Commercial Law Conference at Democritus University of Thrace and the International Relations Conference in Athens, further broadening my knowledge in legal and international affairs.
Volunteering and Additional Experience
Beyond my academic and professional commitments, I have contributed to various volunteering initiatives. I worked with EDUACT, gaining hands-on experience in STEM education and event management. Additionally, I was a staff member at the FIRST Global Challenge in Athens, supporting the logistics of an international robotics competition with over 190 teams. These experiences have helped me develop adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills in a global setting.

I am fluent in Greek (native), English (C2), and French (C2), allowing me to work effectively in multilingual environments. My technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive), and Canva. In terms of personal interests, I have a strong passion for literature, particularly allegorical works like George Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm. I also have a keen interest in marketing, branding, and graphic design, which I apply through my leadership roles in various organizations.
