My name is Vasiliki Antimachiti, and I am a fourth-year student of International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep interest in international relations and diplomacy. As part of my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in an Erasmus+ exchange program in Istanbul, where I studied international trade and business. This experience enriched my understanding of cultural exchange, adaptability, and international cooperation, strengthening my passion for international relations.
Beyond my studies, I have actively engaged in conferences, projects, and seminars related to international relations and diplomacy. I have participated in multiple Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, including Rhodes MRC and ThessISMUN, both as a delegate and as a board member. Being in such conferences has broadened my understanding of international relations and diplomacy and has given me useful skills for my academic and professional life.
Moreover, I have participated in various Youth Exchange programs, spending time abroad, exploring culture and developing soft skills regarding communication and cooperation. Beside those skills, I have gained knowledge regarding culture, history, sustainability and politics.
Volunteering has played a significant role in my life. I was an active member of the Greek Scouts from 2016 to 2021, where I developed leadership and teamwork skills. Additionally, I have also been involved in local volunteering initiatives, including environmental clean-up projects, and efforts to raise awareness about the environment.
Beyond my academic and extracurricular activities, I have a passion for the arts, especially singing and acting, and I have participated in both theater plays and live concerts. Moreover, I enjoy literature, art and travelling.
