Who are you?

My name is Chrysoula Gkana, I was born and raised in Thessaloniki in 1995 and I am an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Law in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2011, I participated in my first MUN experience and ever since, I have participated in various simulations, in English and in French. The past 4 years I have been a member of the Organizing Committee and the Head of Judges in “Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens”, a city council simulation in French.

Moreover, I am the Director for Seminars and Conferences in the “European Law Students Association (ELSA)” in Thessaloniki. I am interested in diplomacy and criminal law, I used to practice martial arts, I am a decent singer and I am a radio producer in a webradio station. My secret dream is to become a TV presenter, and my motto is one of Oprah Winfrey’s most famous quotes: “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fall. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness”.

Why did you join the Board of RhodesMRC 2017?

Being a chairperson here is my dream come true in my MUN career.

It is special because of the island, the academic level and the amazing company.
