Sotiris Anastasopoulos is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in international relations, diplomacy, and policy analysis. With proven expertise in European affairs, climate diplomacy, and policy research, he possesses strong analytical skills, research abilities, and leadership experience in high-level conferences and academic settings. Passionate about fostering international cooperation, shaping policies, and promoting sustainable development, he has actively contributed to multiple initiatives.

He is currently a third-year student studying Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where he has gained in-depth knowledge of international relations, European affairs, and policy-making. He is also a student researcher at the Institute of European Integration and Policy at his university department, where he focuses on European governance, sustainability policies, and international relations.

His experience includes an internship at the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy, where he conducted research on international cultural diplomacy and policy analysis. Additionally, he is an analyst at the Association of International and European Affairs (AIEA), co-organizing events on European integration and climate policy, delivering presentations on environmental issues such as the aftermath of COP28, and providing policy analysis on EU regulations and international trade disruptions, under the auspices of the together.eu programme. He also worked as a trainee researcher at the ETERON Institute, analyzing climate policy statements from Greek political leaders and examining party commitments regarding the European Green Deal and climate action.

Beyond academia and research, he has actively participated in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, gaining valuable diplomatic and negotiation skills while engaging in discussions on international policy issues. His MUN experience has strengthened his ability to analyze global challenges, draft resolutions, and navigate multilateral decision-making processes.

His skill set encompasses policy analysis and research, expertise in European Union and foreign affairs, climate diplomacy and environmental policy, public speaking and leadership, as well as event organization and coordination. His achievements include his role as an active European Climate Pact Ambassador promoting sustainability initiatives and his participation in the Our Ocean Conference, where he supported coordination efforts.

Fluent in Greek, German, and French, Sotiris Anastasopoulos has a keen interest in international policy and diplomacy, climate action and sustainability, and cultural diplomacy and European integration. With a strong background in policy research, leadership, and diplomacy, he continues to contribute to discussions and initiatives shaping the global and European landscape.
