The Academic Advisory Committee is acting as a more flexible organ of the organizational structure of RhodesMRC, assisting the Scientific Committee and securing the academic validity and status of the conference. It oversees filtering and enhancing the communication of the Board with the Scientific Committee, ruling upon non-substantive academic issues, ruling upon the final structure of each committee, validating the Rules of Procedure, the Guidelines and the Study Guides of RhodesMRC conferences. It is also in charge of the communication between the conference and the academic partners and the academic affiliations but also the attraction of new such partners and affiliations. The AAC is headed by the Academic Liaison of RhodesMRC. The Secretary General and all the Deputy Secretary Generals are members of the committee. The Committee may have up to 7 members.
