Kalliopi Zermioti

Executive Director of APEC

Who are you?

My name is Kalliopi Zermioti, but I definitely prefer to be called Kallia. I come from a small town near the west coast of Greece, but I have been living in Athens for the past 6 years, as my place of studies. In specific, I am a student at the Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which I wish to graduate by the end of this academic year. After that, I would be really excited to activate myself in the field of international law, and, in particular, the law of air navigation, as I have already participated in two Moot Court competitions on said topic, both as a team member and as the official coach. Apart from Moot Courts, though, I have been deeply involved in the MUN world, throughout my years in the university. Specifically, I have participated in more than 15 MUN conferences and other simulations of the Organs of the European Union, with 7 times serving as a member of the Board.

My personal excitement of simulating multilevel positions in simulation conferences, as well as the variety of the committees I have participated in are indicative of my motivation to take a firm stand in the international political scene and express my opinions on the scorching issues of the international community. And this is also what I hope to achieve as a member of the RhodesMRC 2017 team!

Why did you join the Board of RhodesMRC 2017?

I joined RhodesMRC 2017, in order to explore new areas of international law and relations.

Why is RhodesMRC special?

RhodesMRC is special because of its innovative committees and multinational environment.
