Who are you?

My name is Georgios Karanikas and I was born in was born in Naples, Italy in1995. Having been raised in Italy and mostly in Volos, Greece, I got enrolled in the Law Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2013, being currently in the 4th year of my undergraduate studies.Passionate for foreign languages as well as Human Rights and International Law and Governance, I participated for the first time in an UN Model, just about three years ago, and immediately I figured that sooner or later I would become an MUN-addict. Not to mention a RhodesMRC-addict!
Apart from a passionate MUN life, I have completed an Internship in the Jean Monnet Chair of the University of Macedonia and I attended several summer courses, among which one of the K. Koufa Foundation and also got involved in the activities of ELSA Thessaloniki) by serving as a Member of the Board for two consecutive academic years (2014/2015) & (2015/2016)). All the above gave me the chance of getting involved in several tasks of organizing and conducting projects aimed to come in touch with the law science in a more practical level.
Rhodes MRC 2017 will be my fourth consecutive attendance of this majestic conference and I feel very enthusiastic and emotional to be given the honor to serve once again this Simulation, this time as a Deputy Secretary General. I am looking forward to meeting you in Rhodes, and I am certain that this year’s conference will be a thrilling experience. And that's a promise!
